This Privacy Policy explains how Geotag Photos – GPS Map Camera (“the App”) developed by Nexora Tech Lab / Applyset Media Private Limited (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Android application. By installing or using the App, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Data you create with the App

• Photos and videos you capture using the in‑app camera.
  
• Location information (GPS coordinates, address) used to create visible location stamps on your media.
  
• Timestamps and other overlay text you choose to place on media (for example, project name, supervisor name, remarks in work reports).
  

All stamped photos, videos, and generated reports are saved locally on your device’s storage by default. We do not upload your media content to our own servers.

1.2 Device and usage data
To operate and improve the App, and to show ads where applicable, certain SDKs may automatically collect:

• Device information (device model, OS version, language, country, app version).
  
• App usage information (screens viewed, buttons tapped, session duration, crash logs, performance data).
  
• Advertising identifiers or other device identifiers used for analytics and ad attribution.
  

1.3 Location data
When you enable location permissions, the App accesses your device’s precise location (GPS and network‑based) in order to:

• Fetch your current coordinates and address to show on the stamp overlay.
  
• Display your position on the map view inside the App.
  

Location data is used at run‑time to generate stamps and previews. We do not create a separate online database of your movements.

1.4 Audio data (optional)
If you choose to record videos with sound, or use features that attach voice notes, the App accesses your device’s microphone. Audio is recorded only as part of the media file saved on your device and is not uploaded to our own servers.

1.5 In‑app purchase and payment information
In‑app purchases such as lifetime premium or “ad‑free” upgrades are processed by Google Play. We do not receive your full payment details (such as complete card numbers). We only receive transaction‑level information from Google (for example, purchase tokens and order status) to unlock premium features.

2. How we use information

We use the information described above for the following purposes:

• To provide core functionality, such as adding location, time, and other metadata overlays to photos and videos.
  
• To generate work reports and PDFs that you choose to save or share.
  
• To store your stamped media and reports in the app’s gallery on your device.
  
• To maintain and improve app performance, stability, and user experience (for example, diagnosing crashes and measuring which features are used).
  
• To show ads (where applicable) and measure their performance in compliance with the policies of the advertising providers.
  
• To process and validate in‑app purchases and restore your premium status when you reinstall the App or change device.
  

3. Third‑party services
   

We may use third‑party SDKs and services that collect information independently of us. These may include:

• Mobile advertising networks (such as Google AdMob) that use device identifiers, coarse location, and app usage signals to display ads and measure ad performance.
  
• Analytics and crash‑reporting tools (for example Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics or similar) that help us understand how the App is used and detect technical issues.
  

These third parties act as independent controllers of the data they receive. Their use of information is governed by their own privacy policies. You can typically limit personalized advertising through your device settings (for example, “Opt out of Ads Personalization” or “Limit Ad Tracking”).

4. How your data is stored and protected
   

• Media files (photos, videos, PDF reports) created by the App are stored locally on your device’s storage or memory card under the folders you choose.
  
• Logs and analytics data collected by third‑party SDKs are transmitted to their servers over encrypted connections where supported by those providers.
  
• We do not sell your personal information.
  
• We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect information, but no method of storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
  

5. Data retention and deletion
   

• Media and reports remain on your device until you delete them manually from the App or your system gallery / file manager.
  
• Analytics, crash logs, and ad‑related data are retained by the respective third‑party providers for periods defined in their own policies.
  
• If we ever store any account‑level information on our own servers (for example, for backup or cloud sync), we will update this Policy and provide options to request deletion.
  

6. Your choices and controls
   

• You can revoke location, camera, microphone, or storage permissions at any time from your device’s system settings. Note that some features will not work without these permissions.
  
• You can delete photos, videos, and reports from within the App’s gallery or your device’s file manager.
  
• You can limit personalized ads by changing your advertising preferences in the device settings of your Android phone or tablet.
  

7. Children’s privacy

The App is designed for general audiences and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

8. International use

The App may be used by users in different countries and regions. If you use the App from outside India, you understand that your information may be processed in India and in other countries where our service providers are located, which may have different data‑protection laws than your country.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements, or data‑handling practices. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this document. In some cases we may also provide additional notice in the App or through the Google Play listing. Continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the revised Policy.
